History
Mercy Link was established and incorporated as a non-stock, not for profit, non-government organization by the Securities and Exchange Commission on the 28th of May, 2001. Mercy Link grew from the Mercy Ships activities in the Philippines as they moved their base back to New Zealand.

Mercy Link was based in Manila providing evangelism and medical outreach to the poor and needy of that region. In May, 2003, Mercy Link moved from Manila to Calapan, Oriental Mindoro. This move has enabled Mercy Link to reach the poor and needy of that island, which was not served well by medical missionaries.
